Platform features
On this page, you'll find a comprehensive list of new features introduced to the platform. It includes all the essential information you need to know about each major feature released.
If you are visiting this page for the first time, read it from bottom to top. Newset features are always added to top.
Favorite threads
Favorite Threads lets you save other users' threads to your favorites list. This feature is available for account holders only.
Once you're logged in, a heart icon will appear next to every thread. Clicking the icon will mark the thread as a favorite. Later, you can access your list of favorite threads on your dedicated account page.
Accounts
We're very excited to introduce the Accounts Feature! In simple terms, it allows users to create anonymous accounts, enabling them to store and access their data anytime using their credentials.
That being said, you can continue using the platform just as you did before. Having an account is not a requirement; it's simply a convenience!
Why accounts?!
Until now, it was nearly impossible to keep track of the confessions and stories (or 'threads') you've created, along with the comments you've made. You always had to rely on the ID provided when your thread was created.
When you create multiple threads, tracking them all can become quite challenging. Many users have experienced this issue, particularly when they want to engage with the comments written by others.
To help users keep track of their own threads, we needed to introduce the concept of anonymous logged-in users. With a logged-in account, you'll be able to access all the threads you've created in one convenient place, making it much easier to find your own content.
Having accounts also allows us to enhance the platform's user-friendliness. You can look forward to more improvements, particularly for users with accounts.
How can it be anonymous?
The first thing that comes to mind about the Accounts Feature might be anonymity. How can you be anonymous if you create an account? Well, it's quite simple! When creating an account, we don't ask for any personal information — not even your email address. The only information we require is a username and password - that's it!.
This does come with a downside. Without an email address or any identifier linked to your account, we cannot help you recover it if you forget your credentials. Please take special care to remember your login information; if you lose it, you will also lose access to your associated account.
